Anthropic donates Agent Skills to the Agentic AI Foundation

The open standard for giving agents specialized know-how gets neutral governance.

Anthropic is donating Agent Skills, its open standard for packaging specialized knowledge and workflows for AI agents, to the Agentic AI Foundation. The company says more than 70 agent platforms, including ChatGPT, Cursor, GitHub Copilot and VS Code, have integrated it since it was published in December 2025.
